Class Description
In this beginners, cut and grind, edc knife making class, you are going to develop fundamental knife making skills that, if desired, will take you into a lifelong craft.
We've made this class available for you to approach in two different ways.
A/ THE GIFT BOX - The whole enchilada!!!
With this option, you will book into your desired class date through our scheduling system, and on arrival, you will receive a Gift Box with all the materials to make two knives and every single tool and piece of safety equipment, that you now own and are required to make your knives tangible, again and again and again.....
During your 3 hour class you will be expertly guided through the processes to make your first knife, And, you will receive the materials for you to go home, with all this applied learning, experience, tangible and non-tangible tools, and safety equipment, to confidently make your second knife and infinitely more, in the comfort of your own garage/workshop/studio.......

B/ CLASS ONLY!
If you already have all the tools required for this process, you can purchase the Class only option. You would simply schedule in through our system and we'll provide the material for the knife you will make during class, guided by our professional blacksmith artist, and take it home with you.
We will also provide all the safety equipment all and tools and a safe and equipped atmosphere for you to have "Serious Fun" in the process.

Once we receive notification of your Gift Certificate Purchase, we will email you a printable gift certificate with full instructions for how to redeem & register.

The Class
This is a 3-hour class, where you will be guided to make your very own camp knife from raw material.
If you are receiving a gift box at your class, you will receive materials for two knives, one to make in class and one for you to take home and make, applying all you learned in class, as you made your first knife.
If you are taking the class only, we will provide the materials for one knife, that you will make during class. It is our delight to provide all tools and safety equipment, for the purposes and duration of the class.
In this class you will:
- Design your knife
- Cut the profile
- Grind the bevels
- Drill your handle and scales
- Heat treat
- Pin, glue & shape your handle
- Sharpen your finished knife
Materials

Tools
The tools (all new and in the box) come with the Gift Box, for you to own, use in your class and take home with you for your continued home practice.
